Shapes, lines, arrows and drawing
Build diagrams and visual accents using editable vector elements.
Read as MarkdownAdd a shape
Choose a shape from the toolbar, then resize and position it on the canvas. The catalog includes rectangles, circles, hearts, spades, polygons, stars, triangles, diamonds and blobs.
Use the properties panel for fill, border, opacity and geometry. Corner-radius controls appear where supported. Fills can be solid or gradients. Gradient controls support two to eight stops, stop positions and linear or radial arrangements.
Draw lines and arrows
Choose the line or arrow tool and draw on the canvas. Edit the points and endpoints to adjust the path. Endpoint bindings keep connected drawings associated with their targets.
Use the pencil tool for freehand marks. Choosing a drawing tool only changes the active tool; it does not create a mark until you draw. An AI agent should use drawing commands rather than assuming tool selection draws a path.
Style a border or stroke
Shape borders support solid, dashed, dotted and pencil styles. Lines, arrows and pencil drawings support solid, dashed and pencil strokes, not dotted strokes. A pencil-style border is an appearance choice, separate from creating a freehand drawing.
Choose a theme swatch for a linked color, or a custom color for a fixed appearance. Combine shapes using boolean operations, and organize a diagram using groups and alignment.
